The theme of Ganesha or Ganpati is very popular with many Indian artists. Worship of Lord Ganesha is considered auspicious, especially at the beginning of any project. Ganesha is represented by a figure with four hands, a round belly, and an elephant head. I have always found him to be a tremendously creative subject and have drawn and painted Ganesha in varying degrees of abstraction through the years.

This one is painted on a 20X20 inches, Gallery style canvas. This painting is an example of several mixed media components and techniques. In addition to professional grade acrylic colours and mediums, it features foil, Styrofoam, wooden bar, handmade papers and beads. The sides of the canvas are painted black and it’s ready to hang.
